What are Mass Outbreaks?

Mass Outbreaks are random events that occur in a region which results in an increased spawn rate of ane blazon of Pokemon. Outbreaks occur in specific spots within a region. Whenever a Mass Outbreak occurs, yous'll run into a circular icon of the Mass Outbreak Pokemon on that region's map. Zoom into the map of that region and yous'll see the area where the Mass Outbreak is occurring.

Once you enter the expanse of the Mass Outbreak, you'll find several of the aforementioned kinds of Pokemon all spawning within that pocket-size area.
